No Person under the age of eighteen years shall be granted a learner's licence to drive a motor cycle without gear except with the consent in writing of the person having the care of the person desiring the learner's licence. No person shall be granted a learner's licence to drive a transport (commercial) vehicle unless he has held a driving licence to drive a motor vehicle for at least one year. Driving Licence (D.L.) should be applied 30 days after after issue of LL and before the end of validity. A Learner's Licence (L.L.) is valid for a period of 6 months.
